Day 06!

Day 06 – A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day

Thats my Daddy! He is considered leagally blind, that is how bad his eye sight is! He was born that way his optic nerve, which is the nerve that relays what the eye see's to the brain, well it did not fully develop when he was born! So my dad can see and is able to get around, but he can not do some of the stuff we take for granted! Such as lay back on the couch and watch tv, or read a book! Yes he can do both of those but with pain because he would have to strain to see the book and hold up to his face, and with the tv, we usually have the biggest tv possible in our living room for him, but he usually still has to stand in front of it to see! Also my dad is crazy about cars, especially hot rods, we use to have tons of them , but my dad does not have a license he can not legally drive, that has bothered me since i was a kid! I grew up a bit different than some kids having parents who were so young so my daddy and I have a really close relationship, I would give anything for him to be able to see with 20/20 vision for the rest of his life! but while my dad is my hero for being the person he is and not allowing this to get him down , I would like to experince Life as he see's it , everyday, how he see's things that we dont, and differently than we do! While there are many celebrities and stars I would trade with , ,I would much rather trade lives with my daddy for a day!
